SUBJECT: LEC Security Equipment
CAPTION: Approve a proposal from ADT Security in the amount of $88,190 to implement
Phase II of the Security Plan.
BACKGROUND: ADT installed Phase I of the security plan at the Municipal Building and
Phase II is ready to be installed at the Joint Law Enforcement Center. ADT
is the sole source for this equipment, these two system will be integrated
and have to be compatible.
ANALYSIS: Approval will provide adequate security equipment at JLEC as well as being able
to be integrated with the system now in place at the Municipal Building.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: $88,190
ALTERNATIVES: Implement no security measures at JLEC.
