Dear Mr. Saxon:
Stevenson & Palmer Engineering, Inc. is pleased to offer this proposal to provide
engineering services for the referenced project.
The Augusta Utilities Department has identified the need to redirect certain industrial
discharges on Columbia Nitrogen Drive away from the collection system in Laney-
"Talker Boulevard and the 2nd Street Lift Station directly to the Messerly WPCP. The
proposed force main will run south along Lover's Lane, cross property owned by the
Boral Brick Company, and then traverse the edge of Augusta's wetland treatment system.
Stevenson & Palmer proposes to provide the following services for this project:
· Topographic survey of the proposed route
· Hydraulic analysis of the proposed system, to include existing industrial pumping
systems
· Preparation of contract documents, including construction plans and technical
specifications. These services include progress submittals and reviews at 30%,
60%, and 90% milestones.

A preliminary schedule and opinion of probable cost are also enclosed for your reference.
We propose to provide these services for a lump sum fee of$155,560.
