Siemens Building Technologies is pleased to present the following proposal for the replacement and upgrade of your HV AC Central plant per current operating performance standards. Under this proposal we will furnish the following servIces: 1. Furnish and install two (2) Centrifugal Water Chillers a. .546 kW/ton b. 250 Tons Water Cooled c. 2 stage compressors with R-123 refrigerant. 2 stage economizer d. Under/Over phase protection e. Star-delta starter f Required piping and pipe insulation, g. Required Electrical wiring and interlocks 2. Furnish and install one (1) Flat Plate Heat Exchanger. 3, Furnish and Install two (2) Chilled Water pumps with Variable Speed Drives 4. Furnish and install two (2) Condensing Water Pumps with Variable Speed Drives 5. Furnish and Install Chilled Water Expansion Tanks and Air Separators 6, Furnish and Install two (2) Boilers with the same BTU capacity as the existing 7. Furnish and Install one (1) Heat Exchanger for production of Hot Water 8, Furnish and Install Two (2) Condensate Pumps 9. Furnish and Install One (1) Condensate Receiver 10. Furnish and Install One (1) Steam Pressure Reducing Station 11. Furnish and Install Two (2) Hot Water Pumps with variable speed drives 12. Furnish and Install Chemical Treatment Systems for each water system 13. Furnish and Install one (1) Hot water Expansion tank and Air Separator 14. Furnish all new Piping Mains with in the Basement Mechanical Room with required Valves, strainers, thermometers, etc, 15. Color Code Markings (paint) on all piping mains 16. Furnish required labor and equipment (Cranes, Trucking, Disposal) to remove the existing Water Chiller, Boiler, exchanger, piping, etc from the mechanical room and site. Furnish required labor, services (asbestos abatement), and equipment (Trucking, and Disposal) to remove the existing piping and site. 18. Furnish and install one (1) Refrigerant Monitor with monitoring by the Siemens Building Technologies Energy Management System 19. Furnish and Install a new Siemens Building Technologies Motor Control Center and connect to all the new equipment 20. Furnish and install required Labor and Materials to interface Items 1 through 13 and item 18 & 19 to the existing Siemens Building Technologies workstation and all required programming, engineering and database sequences required to perform the required sequences of operation, 21. All required project supervision (on site) and as built documentation, A. All equipment installed will be covered by a twelve-month warranty from the date of project completion, as agreed to by Siemens Building Technologies and Augusta-Richmond County's representatives. B. All work will be coordinated to keep the shut down of services to the shortest periods possible. We at Siemens Building Technologies feel that this scheduling will provide the highest level of comfort and the least disruption of normal operations to Augusta- Richmond County, its employees and customers, With receipt of authorization to proceed received by December 31,2000, This schedule will also allow completion of the work by April 30, 2001, with most work during normal work hours. We have put together a team of professionals to provide August-Richmond County with a completed project in the most efficient and professional manner possible.
