Alignment Revisions
Dear Mr. Hicks:
Southern Partners, Inc. is pleased to submit this revised proposal to provide professional
services for the change of alignment of approximately 6000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, from the end of
Lake Michigan Drive to the crossing at Willis Foreman Road. This work is to reduce the impact on
wetlands, reduce the easements required and increase the potential access to the trunk line. Our fee for
these services is Twenty Four Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars and No Cents
($24,975.00).
We propose to furnish the following services:
1. Conduct field surveys of the proposed sanitary sewer route to determine property
boundaries, line and grade, utilities and other physical encroachments.
2. Perform field investigations to avoid, where practical, encroachments into the wetlands
or standing water.
3. Combine this work with the existing Horsepen Sanitary Sewer design to connect to the
designed sewer at both the upper and lower ends ofthis project.
4. Move the proposed manhole at the end of Lake Michigan Drive to provide additional
clearance from the existing dam and spillway.

5. Prepare final construction plans (90% submittal) that will be included with the other
parts of this project. This will be a single submittal that incorporates the plans already
submitted with these modifications.

Augusta Utilities Department will provide all available maps and plans for sanitary sewer and
water lines in and adjacent to the project area, all GIS information (digital and paper) and all other
pertinent information available in the public records.
This project will be included with the work already under contract. We will begin once we have
your notice to proceed. Invoices will be submitted at completion ofthe 90 percent submittal of the
entire project.
