Dear Mr. Hicks: Southern Partners, Inc. is pleased to submit this proposal to provide professional services for the design of approximately 34,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, 700 services and necessary appurtenances to serve properties in the Fairington Subdivision and surrounding areas. Conduct field surveys of the proposed sanitary sewer route to determine property boundaries, line and grade, utilities and other physical encroachments. 2. Prepare conceptual plans (30% submittal) for determining routing, sizing and design considerations unique to this project. 2. Prepare preliminary plans (60% submittal) for the installations of these lines. Preliminary plans will be reviewed with Augusta Utilities Department and the Program Manager before work is started on the final plans. 3. Prepare final construction plans (90% submittal) and bid documents, including a construction cost estimate. 4. Discuss bid results with the program manager to determine any items that may cause the selection of a contractor other than the low bidder. 5. Prepare easement plats as needed for lines that cross private property. 6. Monitor the general progress (surveillance) of the project and review all job submittals. Augusta Utilities Department will provide all available maps and plans for sanitary sewer and water lines in and adjacent to the project area, all GIS information (digital and paper) and all other pertinent information available in the public records. This project can be ready for concept review within 90 days of receipt of your purchase order and authorization to proceed. An estimated schedule is attached, Payment for services will be based on percentages completed. Invoices will be submitted in accordance with a mutually agreed upon schedule to allow time for review by the Program Manager. We appreciate this opportunity to be of service to Augusta Utilities.
