HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7213 THAMES PLACE ORDINANCE NO. 7 2111 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta - Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta - Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R - (One - family Residential) to Zone R -1C (One - family Residential) affecting property located on the northeast right -of -way line of Thames Place, 71 feet, more or less, west of Bansbury Place, thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 49 feet, more or less, to a point; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R - (One - family Residential) to Zone R - (One - family Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Thames Place, 71 feet, more or less, west of Bansbury Place, thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 49 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 534 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 155.05 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 10 feet, more or less, to a point located at the dead end of Oxford Drive; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the dead end of Oxford Drive a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 133 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwester direction a distance of 457 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 78 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 1,277 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 220 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a z_)o -G II 4 point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 690 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 152 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Thames Place (dead end); thence, in a southerly direction along the dead end of Thames Place a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 19 acres. (Tax Map 142-0-091-00-0) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations: 1. That the development be limited to 31 lots. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 16 day of Nov , 2010.
