ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta -
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta - Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
B - (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B -2 (General Business) affecting property
located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Washington Road and
Pleasant Home Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B - (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B -
(General Business)affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of
the intersection of Washington Road and Pleasant Home
Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the west
right -of -way line of line of Pleasant Home Road a
distance of 151 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a westerly direction a distance of 179 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 169 feet, more or less, to a point located
on the south right -of -way line of Washington Road;
thence, in an easterly direction along the south right -
of -way line of Washington Road a distance of 184 feet,
more or less to the point of beginning. This property
contains .69 acres and is known as 3330 and 3334
Washington Road. (Tax Map 010 -0- 005 -01 -0 & 010-0- 005 -02-
0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
