ORDINANCE NO. 7200
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta -
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta - Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
B -1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone LI affecting
property located on the northeast right -of -way line of Sand Bar Ferry Road, 390
feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the centerline of East Cedar Street
extended intersects; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B - (Neighborhood Business) and Zone LI
(Light Industry) to Zone LI affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Sand Bar Ferry
Road, 390 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the centerline of East Cedar
Street extended intersects; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 285 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 126 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 311 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the northeast right -of -way line of Sand Bar Ferry Road;
thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right -of -way line of Sand Bar
Ferry Road a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This

property contains .86 acres and known as 207 Sand Bar Ferry Road. (Tax Map 048-
3- 095 -00 -0)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta Richmond County is subject
to the following stipulations:
1) no derelict vehicle may be stored on the property and
2) only outside storage limited to one waste container.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
