An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta -
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta - Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
R - (Two - family Residential) to Zone R -3C (Multiple - family Residential)
affecting property located on the southeast corner of the intersection of McCauley
Street and Roulette Lane; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R -2 (Two - family Residential) to Zone R -
(Multiple - family Residential) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of McCauley
Street and Roulette Lane; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest
right -of -way line of Roulette Lane a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point
located where the northwest right -of -way line of Floyd Street intersects; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right -of -way line of Floyd Street a
distance of 387 feet, more or less to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 150.0 feet, more or less to a point located on the southeast right -of -way
line of McCauley Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast
right -of -way line of McCauley Street a distance of 387 feet, more or less to the point
of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.33 acres and consists of
multiple tax parcels. A complete list of all parcels is available in the Planning
Commission office.
