An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
B -2 (General Business) to Zone R -1 B (One - family Residential) affecting property
located on the west right -of -way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 160 feet, more or
less, south of a point where Payton Road extended intersects; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B -2 (General Business) to Zone R -1B (One-
family Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the west right -of -way line of Mike Padgett Highway,
160 feet, more or less, south of a point where Payton Road extended intersects;
thence, in a southerly direction along the west right -of -way line of Mike Padgett
Highway a distance of 75.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance
of 140.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 75.0 feet to a
point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 140.0 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains .24 acres and is known as 3111 Mike Padgett
Highway. (Tax Map 111 -3- 063 -00 -0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
