HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7183 WINDSOR SPRING ROADORDINANCE NO. 7 183 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta - Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1 (One - family Residential) to Zone R -113 (One - family Residential) affecting property located on the northwest right -of -way line of Windsor Spring Road, 386 feet, more or less, northeast of Willis Foreman Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA - RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R - (One - family Residential) to Zone R - (One - family Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northwest right -of- way line of Windsor Spring Road, 386 feet, more or less, northeast of Willis Foreman Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 1,991 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 524 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 1,016 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 52 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 901 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right -of -way line of Windsor Spring Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right -of -way lien of Windsor Spring. Road a distance of 26 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 335 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 126 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 370 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right -of -way line of Windsor Spring Road; r--- Z7, 1 a C� e thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 226 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 27 acres and is known as 4477 and 4483 Windsor Spring Road. (Tax Maps 179- 0 -002- 01-0 and 179 -0- 186 -00 -0) SECTION It. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations: 1. That the development plan must substantially conform to the concept plan submitted with this petition. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 18_ day of May , 2010. APPROVED THIS May 18 , 2010.
