HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7175 GRANDWOOD DRIVEORDINANCE NO ' An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta - Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -IA (One - family Residential) to Zone R -1B (One- family Residential) affecting property located on the east right -of -way line of Grandwood Drive, 166 feet, more or less, south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Planetree Drive and Grandwood Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA- RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R -IA (One- family Residential) to Zone R -1B (One - family Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the east right -of -way line of Grandwood Drive, 166 feet, more or less, south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Planetree Drive and Grandwood Drive; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 757 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest right -of -way line of Planetree Drive; thence, S 36 0 04 1 48" E along the southwest right -of -way line of Planetree Drive a distance of 121.03 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 153 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 37 0 25 1 01" E a distance of 165.09 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 1,083 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 37 ° 25 1 14" W a distance of 210 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 05 0 54 1 31" E a distance of 586.94 feet to a point; thence, S 82 0 42'17" E a distance of 101.27 feet to a point located on the west right -of -way line of Grandwood Drive; thence, S 84 ° 05'06" E across Grandwood Drive a distance of 60.04 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 9.03 acres and is Phase II of Richmond Estates Subdivision. (Part of Tax Map 083 -1- 009 -00 -0) SECTION II.
