HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7160 EVE STREET ORDINANCE NO.---+l-GO An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with a Special Exception to establish a community center as part of the Kroc Center per Section 20-2 (a) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta-Richmond County affecting property located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Eve Street and Crescent Lane; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with a Special Exception to establish a community center as part of the Kroc Center per Section 20-2 (a) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta-Richmond Countyaffecting property as follows: ./ i )/ (;-5 '1/ o - j,..- ~ Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Eve Street and Crescent Lane; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Eve Street a distance of 380 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Browns Lane and Eve Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way lien of Browns Lane a distance of 102 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right- of-way line of an unnamed Alley; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line an unnamed Alley a distance of 390 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way lien of Crescent Lane; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way lie of Crescent Lane a distance of 109, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .9 acres and is known as 105, 111, 113, 119, 123, 127, 131 and 135 Eve Street. A complete list of the tax parcels is available at the Planning Commission office. " SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 15 tlday of Dec ,2009.
