HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7158 PEACH ORCHARD ROAD ORDINANCE NO. 7158 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone P-l (Professional) to Zone B-2 (General Business)affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road, 862 feet, more or less, south of Tobacco Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-l (Professional) to Zone B-2 (General Business )affecting property as follows: & DC{ " b ?~ Mayor (.2 ce4.-Y--- . .. Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Peach Orchard Road, 862 feet, more or less, south of Tobacco Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 273 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 106 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 347 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.02 acres and is known as 3624 Peach Orchard Road. (Tax Map 155-0-056-00-0) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations: 1) that a circular driveway be approved and constructed before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued SECTION m.
