ORDINANCE NO~
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) affecting
property located on the east right-of-way line of Alexander Drive, 20 feet, more or
less, south of where the centerline of Brookhaven Way intersects; and for the repeal
of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone R-IA
(One-family Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way
line of Alexander Drive, 20 feet, more or less, south of
where the centerline of Brookhaven Way intersects;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 340 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly
direction a distance of 160 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 376
feet, more or less, to a point located on the east
right-of-way line of Alexander Drive; thence, in a
northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of
Alexander Drive a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning. This property contains .76
acres and is known as 1062 Alexander Drive. (013-3-002-
00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
