Home My WebLink AboutORD 7150 MILLEDGEVILLE ROAD ~ ~ ~ ORDINANCE NO. 7150 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-1 affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 490 feet, more or less, east of Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-1 affecting property as follows: 2-0~-S'~ . a . Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 490 feet, more or less, east of Gordon Highway; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 113 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 279 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 103.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 57.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 31 0 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .9 acres and is known as 2740 Milledgeville Road. (Tax Map 070-4-089-00-0) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this :;a. day of fJ-,t.J- ,2009.
