ORDINANCE NO. 7135
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located at a point
located on the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 600 feet,
more or less, north of McCombs Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption ofwhich)s set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B~2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-
way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 600 feet, more or
less, north of McCombs Road; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 278.62 feet to a point; thence,
in a northerly direction a distance of 128.50 feet to a
point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of
250.94 feet to a point located on the southwest right-
of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a
southerly direction along the southwest right-of-way
line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 131.76 feet
to the point of beginning. This property contains .78
acres and is to be utilized in conjunction with an
adjacent convenience store located at 5131 Mike Padgett
Highway. (Tax Map 354-0-008-13-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
