HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7129 MILLEDGEVILLE ROAD 'i ORDINANCE NO. 7129 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the August,a-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-3A (Multiple-family Residential) , affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 240 feet, more or less, west of Sibley Road ; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: ' THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-3A (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property as follows: 2~ O'!"';;'f( ~ Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of MilledgeviUe Road, 240 feet, more or less, west of Sibley Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of348 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 30 feet, more or less, thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 70 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 450 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 420 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 380 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 270 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Sibley road, thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 20 feet, more or less, along the southwest right-of-way line of Sibley Road to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 180 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 5.6 acres and is known as 3227 Milledgeville Road. (Part of Tax Map 069-2-053-00-0) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1 ~ day of May ,2009. APPROVED THIS May 15 ,2009.
