ORDINANCE NO.-Zl28
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) affecting property
located on the southeast comer of the intersection of Browns Lane and Eve Street;
and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) to Zone P-l
(Professional) affecting property as follows:

'l Beginning at a point located on the southeast comer of the intersection of Browns
Lane and Eve Street; thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of-
way line of Eve Street a distance of 770 feet, more or less, to a point located where
the southeast bank of the Augusta Canal intersects; thence, in a southeasterly
direction along the southwest bank of the Augusta Canal a distance of 1,300 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 444 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 66 feet, more or less,
to appoint; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 231 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Pearl Avenue; thence, in a
southwesterly direction across Pearl Avenue to a point located on the southwest
right-of-way line of Browns Lane; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the
southwest right-of-way line of Browns Lane a distance of 650 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning. This property contains multiple parcels comprising
approximately 11.5 acres. (A complete list of tax parcels is available at the Planning
Commission office)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
