ORDINANCE NO. 7108
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property
located on the north right-of-way line of Washington Road, 650 feet, more or less,
west of the intersection with Alexander Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way
line of Washington Road, 650 feet, more or less, west of
the intersection with Alexander Drive; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 20 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence, in a westerly direction along the
north right-of-way line of Washington Road a distance of
110 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 99 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a southerly direction a distance of 210 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 10 feet, more or less to the point of
beginning. This property contains .51 acres and is
known as 2817 Washington Road. (Tax Map 012-0-067-01-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
