ORDINANCE NO. 7102
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property
located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 2,490 feet, more or
less, southwest of the Madrid Drive North intersection; and for the repeal of ordinances
in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B,-l (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway,
2,490 feet, more or less, southwest of the Madrid Drive North intersection; thence,
in a southeasterly direction a distance of 200 feet to a point; thence, in a
northwesterly direction a distance of 100 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 50 feet, to a point; thence, in an northeasterly direction a
distance of 132 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 496 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 576 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 107 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 1,326 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way
line of Gordon Highway; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast
right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a distance of 123 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning. This property contains approximately 6.55 acres and is known
as 2368 Gordon Highway. (Tax Map 067-0-010-00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
