ORDINANCE NO'-7-0-9-6
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone
R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) and R-3C (Multiple-family Residential) to
Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way
line of Greene Street, 120.0 feet southeast of Second Street; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) and R-3C
(Multiple-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional)affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Greene Street,
120.0 feet southeast of Second Street; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 151.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
352.25 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Telfair Street;
thence, in a northwesterly direction. along the northeast right-of-way line of
Telfair Street a distance of 150.70 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 352.60 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains 1.22 acres and is known as 124 Greene Street. (Tax Map 047-4-136-00-
0)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-Richmond County is
subject to the following stipulation:
1) the property shall not be used as a drug rehabilitation or halfway house.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
