HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7091 WINDSOR SPRING ROAD ORDINANCE NO. 709 'i An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road, 134 feet, more or less, west of the southwest comer of the intersection of Gerald Drive and Windsor Spring Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: ""2.... "" Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road, 134 feet, more or less, west of the southwest comer of the intersection of Gerald Drive and Windsor Spring Road; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 261.46 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 130.47 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of202.14 feet to a point located on the south right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road a distance of 197.22 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .89 acres and is known as 1840 Windsor Spring Road. (Tax Map 110-4-336-01-0) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-Richmond County is subject to the following stipulations: 1) the only use of the property shall be a temporary office trailer or those uses permitted in the R- 1A zone and 2) the trailer shall be removed and the zoning shall revert to R-1A six months after the completion of the road improvement project. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 2 ~ day of Oc t ,2008.
