An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone P-1 (Professional) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, 358 feet, more or less, southwest of a point where the northwest right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road intersects; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of '1 Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: . , Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, 358 feet, more or less, southwest of a point where the northwest right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road intersects; thence in a southeasterly direction a distance of 198 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of220 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 242 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway a distance of 223 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.1 acres. (Tax Map 023-2-003-00-0) Mayor d! ;t>1 ~~ SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. 1. That the main access on Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway must line up with the access to the Best Buy retail development. 2. Any development of this property prohibits the following uses: Motels Package or/and liquor stores Convenience stores Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this / ~ day of ~ ' 2008.
