An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond
County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from R-l A
(One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business)affecting property located on the
southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road, 131 feet, more or less,
southwest of Georgetown Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith
and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge
Road, 131 feet, more or less, southwest of Georgetown Drive; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 318 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 152 feet, more or less, to a point located on
the northeast right-of-way line of Connie Drive; thence, in a northwesterly
direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Connie Drive a distance of 320
feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast comer of the intersection of
Deans Bridge Road a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
This property contains approximately 1.1 acres and is known as 3234 Deans
Bridge Road. (part of Tax Map 108-0-005-0-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
