ORDINANCE NO. 7044
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta-Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance
No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the
Augusta-~ichmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule
Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to
Zone P-l (Professional)affecting property located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., 340 feet, more or less, southwest
of Old Savannah Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith
and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is
amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family
Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional)affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast
right-of-way line of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.,
340 feet, more or less, southwest of Old Savannah
Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 70.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 75 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 85 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the southeast right-of-way line of
Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.; thence, in a
northeasterly direction along the southeast right-
of-way line of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. a
distance of 75 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains .13 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 1616 &
1618 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (Tax Map 059-3-
411-00-0 & 059-3-412-00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
