ORDINANCE NO. 7043
An Ordinance to amend the Compreher sive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Augusta-Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance
No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the
Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule
Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-3C
(Multiple-family Residential)affecting property located on the south right-
of-way line of Phinizy Road, 25 feet, more or less, east of Bridgeover
A venue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purpose~:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is
amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-3C
(Multiple-family Residential)affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-
way line of Phinizy Road, 25 feet, more or less,
east of Bridgeover Avenue; thence, in an easterly
direction along the south right-of-way line of
Phinizy road a distance of 178 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 405 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 85.13
feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 204 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 89
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 200.0 feet to the
point of beginning. This property contains 1.2
acres and is known under the present numbering
system as 1840 and 1842 Phinizy Road. (Tax Map 144-
0-015-00-0 and 144-0-016-00-0)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
