An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by e~ther the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-I (One-
family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located
on the northeast corner of the intersection of Davis Road and Toucan Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-I (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast comer of the intersection of Davis
Road and Toucan Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way
line of Davis Road a distance of 264 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an
easterly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 104 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 420 feet, more or less, to a point located on the
northwest right-of-way line of Toucan Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction
along the northwest right-of-way line of Toucan Road a distance of 225 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2.3 acres
and is known as 154 Davis Road. (Tax Map 016 Parcel 031)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
