ORDINANCE NO, 7026
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1 C (One-
family Residential) to Zone R-1E (One-family Residential) affecting property located
on the northeast right-of-way line of Hopkins Street, 5 feet, more or less,
southeast of where the centerline of King Street extended intersects; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) to Zone R-1E (One-family
Residential) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located ,on the northeast right-of-way line of Hopkins Street, 5
feet, more or less, southeast of where the centerline of King Street extended
intersects; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line
of Hopkins Street a distance of 5 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 75 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 125 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 72 feet, more or less, to a point located on the
northeast right-of-way line of Hopkins Street; thence, in a northwesterly direction
along the northeast right-of-way line of Hopkins Street a distance of 122 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .21 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 709 Hopkins Street. (Tax Map 060-1 Parcel
044)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
