An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l (One-
family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the
west right-of-way line of Pleasant Home Road, 375 feet south of Washington
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-l (One-family Residential) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Pleasant Home Road,
375 feet south of Washington Road; thence, S 06005"55" W along the west right-of-
way line of Pleasant Home Road a distance of 221 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, N 79018"00" W a distance of 377 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N
10011 '22" E a distance of368 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 78023"38" E a
distance of 361 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains
approximately 3.1 acres and is the northern part of 117 Pleasant Home Road (Part of
Tax Map 010 Parcel 006) ,
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
