HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7023 BELAIR ROAD ORDINANCE NO. 7023 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) with a Special Exception per Section 10-2 (a) to establish single-family attached dwellings not to exceed 5 lIz units per acre affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Belair Road, 326 feet, more or less, southwest of Barnett Crossing; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-lB (One-family Residential) with a Special Exception per Section 10-2 (a) to establish single-family attached dwellings not to exceed 5 lIz units per acre affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Belair Road, 326 feet, more or less, southwest of Barnett Crossing; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 185 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 102 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 251 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 531 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 600 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 812 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Belair Road; Z,.Oi-l~ Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 15-- day of T .<m ,2008. thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Belair Road a distance of 321 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 372 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 174 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 375 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Belair Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Belair Road a distance of75 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 11.2 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3628 and 3838 Belair Road. (Tax Map 053 Parcels 172, 176, 174 and 044) SECTION II.
