ORDINANCE NO. 7022
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located where the northeast right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway
intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Old Wrightsboro Roa; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located where the northeast right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess
Parkway intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Old Wrightsboro Road;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 59 feet, more or less, to a point
located on the southwest right-of-way line of Old Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Old Wrightsboro
Road a distance of 186 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 146 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northeast
right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway; thence, in a northerly direction along
the northeast right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway a distance of 227 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .41
acres and has recently been assigned the address of 1028 Jimmie Dyess Parkway.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
