ORDINANCE NO'-Tfr2T An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Interstate Parkway and also being on the Richmond County/Columbia County boundary line, 220 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Interstate Parkway and Flowing Wells Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: 2_0,"&-10 .. ~ Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Interstate Parkway and also being on the Richmond County/Columbia County boundary line, 220 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Interstate Parkway and Flowing Wells Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Interstate Parkway a distance of 1,735 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 53039'33" W a distance of 600 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 85058'52" W a distance of 700 feet, more or less, to a point located on the east right-of-way line of Flowing Wells Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Flowing Wells Road a distance of 1,570 feet, more or less, to a point located on the Richmond County/Columbia County boundary line; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the Richmond County/Columbia County boundary line a distance of 270 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 35 acres. (Part of Tax Map 029 Parcels 043 & 044) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta Richmond County is subject to the following stipulation: That the sale of this property for a large corporate campus and related parking be completed within 18 months or the zoning shall revert to the current A (Agriculture) Zone SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Opeo Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this /.:L day nF 2008.
