An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-2 (General
Business) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property located on the southwest right-
of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway, 250 feet, more or less, northwest of Powell
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance ado~ted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess
Parkway, 250 feet, more or less, northwest of Powell Road; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 453 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 203 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 457 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest
right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway; thence, in a southeasterly direction
along the southwest right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway a distance of 280
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 50
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 80 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 19 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 23 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 3.2 acres
and was formerly 4040 Belair Road. (Part of Tax Map 038 Parcel 023)

SECTION II.
This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-
Richmond County is subject to the following condition:
That no additional manufactured homes may be placed on the property
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
