ORDINANCE NO. 7009 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l (One-family Residential) and Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IE (One-family ResidentiaI)affecting property located on the northeast comer of the intersection of Katherine Street and Williams Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-l (One-family Residential) and Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-l E (One-family Residential)affecting property as follows: z"oi...CJ7 ,. ~ '7. ~..1 Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Katherine Street and Williams Street; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Katherine Street a distance of 379 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Cumming Road and Katherine Street; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of Cumming. Road a distance of 298 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 381 feet, more or less, to a point located on the north right-of-way line of Williams Street; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Williams street a distance of 298 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 2.32 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2349 Williams Street. (Tax Map 034-4 Parcel 025) SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 16-- day of Oct ,2007. APPROVED THIS Oct 16 ,2007.
