HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 7002 BEAVER DRIVE CABANA COURT ., ORDINANCE NO. ;,1:0012 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone R -1 C (One- family Residential)affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Beaver Drive, 325 feet, more or less, east of Cabana Court; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) to Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) affecting property as follows: z - O( - ~ ~ .. Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Beaver Drive, 325 feet, more or less, east of Cabana Court; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 531 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 530 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Beaver Drive; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Beaver Drive a distance of 400 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 4.87 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3375 and 3377 Beaver Drive. (Tax Map 041-2 Parcel 202 and 203-01) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta- , Richmond County is subject to the following conditions: 1) the existing pond must remain in place and 2) no mitigation of the wetlands shall be applied for and all wetlands shall remain intact. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this I t/ day of ~, 2007.
