ORDINANCE TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE
STRUCTURE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1379 SWANEE QUINTET (STEED ST.), 1377
SWANEE QUINTET (STEED ST.), 1603 DUNNS LANE, 1542 'l2 HOLLEY STREET, 1103 'l2
TENTH AVENUE, 2538 DOVER STREET, AND 2006 WILLOW STREET.
TO REPEAL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION AND IT IS
HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the following residential properties have been identified by the Director of the
Augusta - Richmond County License and Inspection Department as unfit for human habitation
(or unfit for its current commercial or business use) and the cost of repair, alteration or
improvement of said properties exceeds one-half the value of property and that the said Director
shall cause the structures located on hereinafter described property to be demolished and
removed as ordered by Augusta-Richmond County Magistrate Court; and that said Director
shall cause the costs of such removal and demolition for said property be entered upon the lien
docket maintained in the office of Clerk of Augusta - Richmond County Commission and said
Director shall otherwise proceed to effectuate the purpose ofO.C.G.A. SS 41-2-7 through 41-2-
17 with respect to said property, to-wit:
· 1379 SW ANEE QUINTET (STEED ST.), Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified
on Augusta-Richmond County Tax Map 58-4 as Parcel 183.
· 1377 SWANEE QUINTET (STEED ST.), Augusta- Richmond County, Georgia, identified
on Augusta-Richmond County Tax Map 58-4 as Parcel 184.
· 1603 DUNNS LANE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 58-2 as Parcel 263.
· 1542 'l2 HOLLEY STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 58-2 as Parcel 295.
· 1103 'l2 TENTH AVENUE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 72-2 as Parcel 314.
· 2538 DOVER STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 97-1 as Parcel 77.
· 2006 WILLOW STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 87-2 as Parcel 221.
Section II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
Section III. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
