An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1 B (One-
family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-family Residential)affecting property
located on the east right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive, 420 feet, more or less,
south of Pepperidge Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IB (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IC (One-family
Residential) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way
line of Greenwood Drive, 420 feet, more or less, south
of Pepperidge Drive; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 176 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a southerly direction a distance of 110 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 1,015 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 927
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance
of 345 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 110 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way
line of Monte Carlo Drive; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 35 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the southeast right-of-way line of
Monte Carlo Drive (dead end); thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Monte
Carlo Drive (dead end) a distance of 50 feet to a point;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 540 feet,
more or less, to a point located on the southwest right-
of-way lie of Ramblewood Drive; thence, in an easterly
direction along the southwest right-of-way line of
Ramblewood Drive a distance of 25 feet, more or less, to
a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of
Ramblewood Drive; thence, in a northerly direction along
the southeast right-of-way line of Ramblewood Drive a
distance of 189 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in an easterly direction a distance of 998 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line
of Greenwood Drive; thence, in a southerly direction
along the west right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive a
distance of 40 feet, more or less, to a point located on
the south right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive (dead
end); thence, in an easterly direction along the south
right-of-way line of Greenwood Drive (dead end) to the
point of beginning. This property contains
approximately 29 acres. (Part of Tax Map 143 Parcel 024)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
