ORDINANCE NO. 6991
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND RESTATE THE CODE OF
AUGUST A-RICHMOND COUNTY REGARDING THE
OPERATION OF A MOTORIZED CART IN A PUBLIC STREET,
ROAD, OR IDGHWAY; TO CORRECT AN ERROR TO A
REFERENCE TO THE O.C.G.A.; AND, TO REPEAL ANY
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY
COMMISSION AND IT. IS HEREBY.ORDAlNED BY THE AUTHORITY OF
THE SAME, THAT THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY CODE BE
AMENDED AS HEREINAFTER PROVIDED:
SECTION 1:
That 93-5-86 of the Augusta-Riclunond CoUnty Code (hereinafter "the Code") is hereby
amended to add a section known as 93-5-86(b )(3) as follows:
All that portion of Pine Needle Road from its intersection
with Buena Vista and Cardinal Drive, and continuing west
to the Forest Hills Golf Course entrance, during daylight
hours between dawn and dusk.
SECTION 2:
That the reference to "O.C.G.A. 94-6-331" is hereby deleted from 9 3-5-86 of the Code,
and is replaced with "O.C.G.A. 940-6-331" as the correct reference.
SECTION 3:
All laws or ordinances or parts of law or ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4:
This ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption and in accordance with
applicable laws.
