An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960)
together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
zoning from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI (Light Industry)
affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Gordon
Highway, 188 feet, more or less, southwest of Bayvale Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone LI
(Light Industry) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest
right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 188 feet, more
or less, southwest of Bayvale Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right-
of-way line of Gordon Highway a distance of 223
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 305 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction
a distance of 50 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
350 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
This property contains 1.00 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2029 Gordon
Highway. (Part of Tax Map 069 Parcel 027)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1 L day of June
