I ORDINANCE NO. 6972 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta- Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-l C (One-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with a Special Exception to establish a residential use in a P-l (Professional) Zone per Section 20-2 (b) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta-Richmond County affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Mill Street, 265 feet, more or less, south of Steiner A venue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-I C (One-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with a Special Exception to establish a residential use in a P-l (Professional) Zone per Section 20-2 (b) of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Augusta-Richmond County affecting property as follows: z _ D7- ~ & .. , 'to _ ...... ~ ~ " " Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Mill Street, 265 feet, more or less, south of Steiner Avenue; thence, in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of- way line of Mill Street a distance of 50 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 138 feet, more or less, to a point located on the east right-of-way line of unnamed right-of-way; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of an unnamed right-of-way and southeast of the right-of-way line of Garrett Lane a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property consists of two tax parcels totaling .17 acres and are know under the present numbering system as 1725 and 1727 Mill Street. (Tax Map 059-3 Parcels 023 & 024) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta -Richmond County is subject to the following condition: 1. That the rear yards of 1723, 1725, and 1727 Mill Street be developed for parking. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of ?rdinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
