ORDINANCE NO. 6967
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R -1 A (One-
family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located.
on the northeast right-of-way line of Olive Road, 725 feet, more or less, south of
Sullivan Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Olive Road, 725 feet, more or less, south of
Sullivan Road; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 282 feet to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 78.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 313
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Olive
Road a distance of 75.0 feet to the point of beginning.
This property contains .50 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 194 0 Olive Road. (Tax Map
072-3 Parcel 150)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this lL day of April, 2007.
