An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-

Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together

with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
I
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions ~f the Comprehensive Zoning Map
I
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A
I
(Agriculture) and Zone R-I (One-family Residential) to Zone R-IB (One-family
I
Residential) affecting property located on the north~est corner of the intersection
of Walton Farms Drive and Willis Foreman Road; and for the repeal of ordinances
in conflict herewith and for other purposes:

THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
I
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
I
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and Zone R-I (One-family Residential) to
I
Zone R-IB (One-family Residential) affecting property as follo~s:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Walton Farms Drive and Willis
Foreman Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the
northwest right-of-way line of Willis Foreman Road a
distance of 1,400 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 3,550
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 3,160 feet, more
or less, to the point; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 3,500 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance
of 1,980 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 650 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 2,650 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 340 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 900 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the north right-of-way line of Willis
Foreman Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the
north right-of-way line of Willis Foreman Road a
distance of 1,200 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains approximately 475
acres and consists of multiple tax parcels ( a complete
list of tax parcels is available in the office of the
Augusta-Richmond County Planning Commission)

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
