ORDINANCE NO. 6962
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property
located on the east right-of-way line of Wheeless Road, 485 feet north of
Milledgeville Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Wheeless Road, 485
feet north of Milledgeville Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the east
right-of-way line of Wheeless Road a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in
an easterly direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly
direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 200.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .46 acres
and known under the present numbering system as 2250 Wheeless Road. (Tax
Map 070-1 Parcel 082)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
