ORDINANCE NO. 6959
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from. Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located
on the north right-of-way line of Washington Road, 150 feet more or less, west of Beverly Heights
Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, '1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business )affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way
line of Washington Road, 150 feet more or less, west of
Beverly Heights Drive; thence, in a westerly direction
along the north right-of-way line of Washington Road a
distance of 169.74 feet to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 143 feet to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 155 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly
direction a distance of 166.17 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains .58 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 3131
Washington Road. (Tax Map 011 Parcel 025-01)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
