Home My WebLink AboutORD 6953 HEPHZIBAH MCBEAN ROAD , ORDINANCE NO. 6953 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Hephzibah-McBean Road, 382 feet, more or less, west of Peach Orchard Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) affecting property as follows: z- D7- ~ 'f Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Hephzibah-McBean Road, 382 feet, more or less, west of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Hephzibah-McBean Road a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 681 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 651 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 3.07 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1721 Hephzibah-McBean Road. (Tax Map 333 Parcel 004) SECTION I I. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ~ () day of j~ ,2007.
