An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone R-2 (Two-
family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with a Special Exception to utilize
the property for residential purposes per Section 20-2 (b) affecting property located
on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 80 feet; more or less, east of
Turknett Springs Road intersection; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith
and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) with
a Special Exception to utilize the property for residential purposes per Section 20-2 (b) affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way
line of Wrightsboro Road, 80 feet, more or less, east of
Turknett Springs Road intersection; thence, in an
easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road a distance of 50 feet to a point;
thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 200 feet
to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance
of 50 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction
a distance of 200 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains .21 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 1840 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax
Map 045-3 Parcel 352)
SECTION II.
This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-
Richmond County is subject to the following conditions:
1) no visible changes made to the structure and
2) all parking shall be in the rear yard. 1) no visible changes
made to the structure and 2) all parking shall be in the rear
yard;
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
