HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6937 BELAIR ROAD POWELL ROAD ORDINANCE NO. 6937 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta- Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property located on the west right-of- way line of Belair Road, 625 feet, more or less, southeast of Powell Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Belair Road, 625 feet, more or less, southeast of Powell Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the west right-of-way line of Belair Road a distance of 104.50 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 513 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 210 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 249 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 69.65 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 229 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.93 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 4004 Belair Road. (Tax Map 038 Parcel 035) SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta- Richmond County are subject to the following condition: 1. That only one manufactured home be allowed on this parcel. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ~ day of Dec ,2006. APPROVED THIS December 19 ,2006.
