An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the .State of Georgia II by changing the zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Dennis Road, 400 feet, more or less, northeast of Parker Street; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-IA (One-family Residential) affecting property
as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Dennis Road, 400 feet, more or less,
northeast of Parker Street; thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of
Dennis Road a distance of 360 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of
1,093 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S
62020' 39" W a distance of 122.82 feet to a point;
thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 940
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains approximately 6.65 acres. (Part of Tax
Map 004 Parcel 002)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
