ORDINANCE NO. 6QQ6
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission effective September 16, 1997 (Ordinance No. 5960) together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Augusta-Richmond County
Commission as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing or removing the conditions placed on
property during a previous rezoning (Z-89-136 and Z-89-13 7) affecting property located
approximately 190 feet west of Stanley Drive and being 1,000 feet, more or less,
south of Washington Road and located approximately 400 feet west of Stanley
Drive and being 1,350 feet, more or less, south of Washington Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map changing or removing conditions placed on property during a previous rezoning (Z-
89-136 and Z-89-137) affecting property as follows:
P-1 portion of property
Beginning at a point located approximately 190 feet west
of Stanley Drive and being 1,000 feet, more or less,
south of Washington Road; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 350 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance
of 725 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 360 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in an southeasterly direction
a distance of 725 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains approximately 5.8
acres. (part of Tax Map 018 Parcel 068-01)

Beginning at a point located approximately 400 feet west
of Stanley Drive and being 1,350 feet, more or less,
south of Washington Road; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 660 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance
of 630 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 400 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in an southeasterly direction
a distance of 725 feet, more or less, to the point
beginning. This property contains approximately 8.2
acres. (part of Tax Map 018 Parcel 068-01)
SECTION II.
This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Maps for Augusta-
Richmond County is subject to the following conditions:
That 1 through 3 of the 4 zoning conditions placed on the property
in 1989 zoning case be eliminated.
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
